Join us on Tuesday, May 21st at 7:30 PM for a two-part Striving for Thriving session. Part 1, led by Fr. Theodore Stylianopoulos, will discuss practices for cultivating prayer. In part 2, Alone with God: Cultivating Prayer in My Daily Life, a panel of Metropolis of Boston staff and campers will discuss how camp has impacted their lives and what aspects they have taken home.

Meet Father Theodore Stylianopoulos
Father Theodore Stylianopoulos was born in Mouzakion, Trifylias, Greece to a farming family. After World War II, his father went to Rizarios Seminary and was ordained in 1947 and subsequently served in Kyparissia, Psari, and Gargalianoi, Messinias. Father Theodore immigrated to USA in 1951, first going San Francisco, California, then to Seattle, Washington. After high school, he enrolled at Hellenic College/Holy Cross in 1956 and graduated in 1962. He continued his studies at Boston University School of Theology and Harvard Divinity School. Father Theodore began to teach at Holy Cross in 1967 and retired officially in 2009. He now serves various parishes as needed by the Metropolis of Boston.
